General Instructions

Time Management

Each section has a strict time limit. The timer will automatically submit your answers when time expires.

Auto-Save Feature

Your answers are automatically saved as you progress through the test.

No Back Navigation

You cannot return to previous sections once you complete them.

Stable Connection

Ensure you have a stable internet connection throughout the test.

Important: Once you start a test, you must complete it in one sitting. You cannot pause and resume later.

Writing Section Instructions

  • Tasks: 2 writing tasks
  • Task 1: 150 words minimum
  • Task 2: 250 words minimum
Task 1 (Academic)

Describe visual information (graph, chart, table, or diagram) in your own words.

  • 20 minutes recommended
  • 150 words minimum
  • Formal academic style
Task 2

Write an essay in response to a point of view, argument, or problem.

  • 40 minutes recommended
  • 250 words minimum
  • Formal essay structure
Tip: Plan your writing before you start. Leave time at the end to check for grammar and spelling errors.

Speaking Section Instructions

Section Overview
  • Duration: 11-14 minutes
  • Parts: 3 parts
  • Part 2: 1 minute preparation
  • Recording: Required for assessment
Part 1

Introduction and interview on familiar topics (4-5 minutes).

Part 2

Individual long turn with preparation time (3-4 minutes).

Part 3

Two-way discussion on abstract topics (4-5 minutes).

Tip: Speak clearly and naturally. Don't memorize answers. Use a range of vocabulary and grammatical structures.
